DEFINITION
ContextWeaver is a vendor-neutral context infrastructure and governance architecture for binding
facts, sources, identities, time, causal relationships, authority, policy, jurisdiction, confidentiality,
risk, evidence quality, permitted operations and release conditions to AI-assisted or autonomous
system activity.

CORE TECHNICAL PROBLEM
AI systems can produce plausible outputs while operating with incomplete, stale, conflicting,
unauthorised or legally unusable context. Conventional prompt injection, retrieval and memory
approaches do not by themselves create a complete authority, evidence and release-control boundary.

PUBLIC FRAMEWORK
The disclosed ContextWeaver framework separates the system into:

REFERENCE PROCESS
A proposed operation is associated with a context envelope. The envelope records the purpose,
inputs, source references, freshness, identity, authority, policy constraints, jurisdiction,
confidentiality, evidence state, risk class and requested output. A decision engine validates the
envelope, identifies missing or conflicting context, obtains model or agent assessments where
authorised, records disagreement, requires escalation where policy requires it, and issues an
allow, constrain, defer or deny decision. Any permitted output is bound to a release profile and an
evidence receipt. Final reliance, publication, licensing or production release remains subject to the
identified human or organisational authority.
